And this is not the first time. Some time ago, I was also walking back to my apartment when a Malay guy ran after me to ask if he can be my friend. I said no, and walked away. Do I look like Im so desperate for friends, that I am willing to befriend any Tom, Dick or Harry along the streets?!

Very yummy chicken porridge from the chicken rice stall downstairs. I put a lot of spring onions, and pepper! Mmmm! =p
Nowadays I eat it every Sat and Sun for lunch without fail... because they only sell it on weekends. I requested the uncle to sell everyday, but he says not enough people to buy on weekdays, so end up they throw away a lot of it, very wasted! :(
I only eat porridge from two places- this chicken rice stall and congee from Crystal Jade. I LOVE CRYSTAL JADE CONGEE. Ok major craving now.
I used my Tangs vouchers to buy THIS! Hehe. Chanel foundation. $82. I think I kinda regret buying this, should have got the whitening one instead. But I like the black case more. You cant have everything huh.
I wanted to get Escada Moon Sparkle perfume too, but Tangs dont carry Escada. :( Now I still have $20 vouchers and I dont know what else I can buy. Haha.

This is my first time to Zouk since the renovation. YES, ITS BEEN THAT LONG!

Before the movie, we went to have drinks at Coffee Club. I like Iced Earl Vanilla! :D We went to watch Ironman at 11.30pm and it was great! I like it! :)
By the time we reached Zouk, was like... 1.45am. Zzzz. Im officially old and old ladies need to sleep early. Sigh.

Oh I wanted to blog about this for quite a while, but I keep forgetting. Mainly because I've been feeling happy and I dont wanna ruin my mood.

2nd May 1983:
My mother's blood pressure was too high, and the doctor told her she needs to have an emergency C section, or else we will both be in danger. So they cut her tummy open and took me out. I was only 26 weeks old, and weighed less than 2 pounds.
My breathing and heartbeat kept stopping because I was too weak. My mouth was too small, they couldnt feed me normally. So a tube was put into my nose and I was fed milk through that tube. The doctors told my parents to prepare for the worst because I only had a 10% chance of survival.
I was so tiny, I could be carried with only one arm. My daddy told me he went to visit me everyday before and after work. Every day that I was still alive, was a relief to everyone around.
I was in the incubator for 3 months, before I was finally strong enough to go home.

I have seen too many girls sticking to their BFs even when they are not very nice guys. And I myself, have also done the same in the past. I was with BY for 2 years, and I was with A for two years as well.

With A, the first year was good. Although the first 6 months he wasnt around, he was in Australia finishing the last lap of his training. I spent so much money on calling cards, so that we could chat on the phone for hours every night. It was very sweet. I was broke, but very happy.
Unfortunately I cant say the same for the second year of the relationship. After I started the business, it got worse. We drifted apart because he was not around half the time, and I was always busy all the time. I dont blame him anymore, for the failure of the relationship, because well..some pepple are just not meant to be together. I just hope he's happy now, afterall everyone is entitled to happiness.
But I wish I ended these relationships earlier, because even when I already knew it wasnt going anywhere, I refused to give up. And you know girls are usually very soft-hearted. After a quarrel, he apologises, treats you well again, and you think you should give him another chance because afterall you already been through so much. Im sure many girls can relate to this.
BUT what Im trying to say here is... Dont waste your precious youth on men who are not worth it. There are so many of them out there, and there's bound to be someone who will treat you better, cherish you more and love you like a princess.

My nails are hideous. All along they are ugly, so I just kept them short. (And I always clean and wash a lot of stuff, so doesnt make sense to do manicures on myself!)
Recently I started doing acrylic nails. And they looked fantastic, until I removed the acrylic. Now my nails are horribly thin. And I have to wait another 3-4 weeks before I can "torture" them with acrylic again. Sigh. So I just painted them a pretty pink, and added crystals. Better than nothing lor! =/
I want to watch movie tomorrow, BUT THE OTHER BOLEYN GIRL IS NO LONGER SHOWING!!? UNTRACEABLE ALSO NO MORE?! WTF!
Oh ya, its SUCH a bitch coming home at night on a holiday eve. No cabs. Have to take train to Clementi and take cab from there. But still had to wait for like half an hour! This is why I always hide at home during weekends and public holiday eves. Cannot stand crowds. Urgh!!

Went to Jean's housewarming on Saturday.
Her house is so nice! I went there once before the renovations started and looking at the completed house I am really impressed with what they've done. I really like the idea of two bedrooms combined into one, to make a separate work station, and walk-in wardrobe! Very clever. Her house looks like a condo unit! Not to mention the nice view from the living room and bedroom. Whoo!
And now all that's missing is the pitter-patter of little feet... *hint hint*
I brought some sparkling Rose. Because the color is so pretty! I dont really know how to appreciate alcohol though. Tastes like a cross between red wine and champagne to me. Hic.
I was there around 12.30pm and ended up staying till like almost 5pm. I had fun flipping through her wedding day photos, and Egypt trip photos. So after that I took a cab down to Eunos! EUNOS!! But ok lar, actually not THAT far. Hehe.
And we had steamboat~ 6 of us! Fake crab sticks, real crab sticks, fake abalone, real abalone, sotong balls, tofu, meat, Japanese curry... Solid.
