I went to watch "Rule No. 1" yesterday. Its the first horror show I watched since......."The Others". The Nicole Kidman one. Yeah its been THAT long. I am very cowardy, horror shows are never my cup of tea. I think I managed to watch half an hour of "Shutter" at my friend's place before I begged to stop the VCD.

But then you know how its like.. You are scared and curious at the same time. Scared, but still want to see. Lol.

So I decided aiya what the heck, just watch la.

Its actually not bad! Basically Shawn Yue plays a cop who got shot and was injured pretty badly while on duty, and he got transfered to this Miscellanous Affairs Dept where Ekin Cheng is the head of the dept, and they apparently deal with the paranormal. Fiona Xie plays Shawn Yue's wife and even though her acting is not bad, she doesnt really get a chance to show any acting chops, because in almost every scene, she's either sleeping or lying down. Hahaha.

The scary parts of the movie are namely the swimming pool scenes, where they go to this creepy swimming complex where there are weird creepy shrieking sounds and Shawn sees this creepy girl who drowned in the pool. And also the hospital one is also scary. An old lady who passed away, but the TV in her room keeps switching on by itself, even though its not plugged in to the electric socket. O_O

I didnt sleep well last night, I woke up at 5am tossing and turning and all the scary images from the movie keeps popping up in my head. ARGH!! I knew it!! Orhbeegood. Cowardy still want to watch horror movie. Okay thats it, Im not gonna watch any horror movie for a long long time!
