i got up at 11AM this morning and drank iced coffee after dinner so im WIDE awake right now. so who's up to looking at my weekend haul!??! :)))) im so obsessed with makeup/beauty products/hair products/mineral makeup/etc right now that its not even funny anymore. i make ALLLL my friends watch my subscriptions on youtube (mainly on beauty products/hauls/tutorials) and they watch it! LOL. even the guys! HHAHA. anyway, i love drugstore shopping. even though our drugstore (watsons) kinda sucks.. i still manage to buy some essentials and backups.

1) a brush for when im blowdrying my hair.
2) shampoo & conditioner
3) baby wipes (makeup remover!)
4) bobby pins! (who doesnt need bobby pins!)
5) cuticle nipper (or whatever you call them.. i hate unruly cuticles)
6) olay facial wash (backup)
7) evian water spray (backup -- i hate the new packaging)
8) mickey mouse hand sanitizer (backup -- i like this because it doesnt make my hands sticky at all)


johnson & johnson baby wipes. i hear SOOOO much good things about using baby wipes as a makeup remover and i decided to give it a try. i use shu uemura cleansing oil, but im SO lazy most of the time that i hate wasting so much time time rubbing it off my face and rinsing it off. baby wipes makes it so much easier. ITS SO EFFECTIVE TOO! and on the packaging it says that its "alcohol free, non hyper allergenic, mild and safe to use on a NEWBORN baby". i figured heck, if it safe to use on newborn babies, its probably safe to use on my 26 yr old face. :))


i only got this because it was pink. hahaha the packaging is so cute and i love it. all that "pearl infused" talk reeled me in too. :) i used it this morning and i really like the fresh clean scent. i like how it detangled my hair after rinsing the shampoo off and i like the consistency of the conditioner.. not too thick and greasy.. it seemed to rinse off cleanly. i hate thick super greasy conditioners because my hair gets really oily.


ive actually had these mineral eyeshadows for about a week now and IM SO IN LOVE WITH THEM. honestly, i have no idea how im going to finish them because they're so pigmented that you only need a little bit each time you do a look. i get sooooo excited everytime i receive a package from AIR21. :)))) i love transferring the samples to the little jars! its such a hassle and really messy, but thats part of the fun! I LOVE IT!!!! :) i was bummed that the samples with the silver caps came in the jars already! HAHHA :( i can't wait to try MAC pigments. SOOO SOOO SOOO SOOO SOOOOOOOO excited.


i bought this great craft box to store my pigment samples. its the PERFECT size and it has removable dividers so you can store the pigments side to side like how i store it, or flat. very cheap and effective way to store the samples. :) i cant wait to fill this box up! :D

I NEED TO LEARN HOW TO USE MY CAMERA PROPERLY. i hate how blurry and unfocused this picture turned out. i was soooo excited to swatch the colors with and without the primer potion, but my photography skills is limited, it would have been useless.


but i swear, the colors are soooooooooooo beautiful and SOOOO SOOO SOOOOOOOOO SMOOTH. i spent like 30 minutes oohing and aahing. :) im officially a urban decay fan. :) im thinking of getting more urban decay palettes!!!! :)

This weekend, we celebrated my maternal grandma’s birthday. It’s been about 3 months since my grandparents, aunts and uncles seen Baby Matt, so everyone was cooing with the little one. It got abit too overwhelming for Matt though as he looked kinda distressed and tensed throughout the night. But I guess that’s only natural since he’s the first of the fourth generation.

It was only when he got home that he became his usual cheeky self and was babbling aloud, kicking his legs, etc. Think the effects of distress came only in the night when he was sleeping. He was frowning in his sleep and started wailing. Milk, water, his favourite rocking-bed, etc couldn’t do anything!

The husb and I were looking after him as my brother and his wife were out. From 11ish to 3ish in the night, we were pacifying him and trying to calm him down. Poor baby! The two of us were already darn tired but we tried our best. Don’t think the both of us are ready for this in the long term for now, so yes, no babies from us anytime soon!
